A Quiet Weekend in Paris

Between his recovering from jetlag and my recovering from exam-prep sleep debt, Esteban and I spent a lazy Easter weekend touring Paris and its less-touristed spots: a couple of my favorite boulangeries, a café in the Latin Quarter with purple armchairs and gold trim where I've enjoyed the onion soup (Café Le Bizuth, 202 bd Saint Germain, 75007), and a selection of side streets including some I know like the back of my hand and others which I'd never before explored. On late Sunday afternoon we also hiked over to the Bois de Vincennes, a large park in the Southeast part of the city. It was a pleasantly calm weekend with tantalizing hints of a spring season that can't arrive soon enough.
