The Thinker

While I've been whiling away my time compiling folder after folder of administrative documents for more offices than you might imagine exist, Valentin has been thrown back into the harsh world of med school, which doesn't seem much friendlier or less cut-throat in France than in the US. Having had it with his studies (given that he actually is allowed to focus on his academics, being a citizen and all), so to take a break from thinking, we visited the Thinker himself, in other words we went to the Musée Rodin. (I kid you not, this was his suggestion. Europeans are a different breed: Valentin also knows how to match outfits, perfectly tie a winter scarf, and pair wines with dishes.) We had a fairly photogenic afternoon on the town, despite the rainy weather.

Youth "connecting" with art. ;)
This was a random church we stumbled across after leaving the museum. This picture doesn't do anything to capture the hauntingly beautiful organ music intermittently drifting through the church as the organist rehearsed.
A typically Parisian overly artsy storefront window. I'm not quite sure what they were actually selling.
